What we get as incoming analysts vs. what to plan to buy

I'm an incoming FT analyst at an EB and I am curious what equipment banks tend to give vs. what analysts need to purchase for themselves. I didn't do SA in IB so I'm not really familiar with what the gear setup usually is. I'm super type A about my budgeting so I am trying to plan ahead.

Is it safe to assume that EBs provide a laptop at the very minimum? Also, should I assume things like WFH gear (i.e. monitors, dock, keyboard, mouse, etc.) is not provided if not mentioned in offer letter? We are on a hybrid schedule so I will be WFH at some points. Also, what is the deal with work phones? Do most firms provide a work device or is it a BYOD situation? Lastly, is there anything else I might want to budget for that might not be provided like a printer (necessary?) or something else I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!

Work at Lazard and we get company-owned work laptops + a one time $300 WFH stipend. Believe it used to be higher but it was $300 when I joined.

No work phones provided but a $75 monthly cell phone plan stipend. Most people use the personal phone but some buy an extra phone to use for work. The plan stipend probably pays for one after a while.

Thanks!

If you just use your personal phone can you basically buy an iPhone 14 + plan and use the 75 per month to cover that?

Wait what? EVR not covering ubers home from office anymore? This has to be a mistype
