What's More Important?

Say for example you were choosing between two offers: JPM vs. Citi. If during the super day and recruiting process a VP or MD at Citi really connected well and wanted you to join the firm and their group would it be more worthwhile to take the "less prestigious" firm over the more prestigious one if it means working with someone who requests and remembers you? Or, does it not matter as a summer which MD you work for and you are just another number at the end of the day?
