Once as a lowly An1 I walked into a (unlocked) bathroom stall where my MD was painting the bowl/laying bricks. It was kinda like this, but somehow even more awkward:
Running into a former MD in NYC while running an errand only to realize he clocks out around 5:30. Could have been running an errand to, but I know for a fact he left for the day.
Was on a first date when an analyst + associate from my team sat on the table next to us. We get along really well so was pretty funny. Turned out to be awesome wingmen/women.
Still remember this clearly from my analyst days. I'm chilling in the break room getting coffee with a couple of analysts when a notoriously hardo MD walks in. He mentions he isn't feeling well and rummages through the medicine cabinet, finds a full bottle of Robitussin, shrugs and downs the ENTIRE thing while casually chit chatting with us. He then chases it with a full mug of practically boiling coffee and then heads out to a bakeoff. I'm amazed he hasn't dropped dead yet.
