What’s the most you ever cost your employer or client?
I’m an associate working on sub-$500mm deals and it looks like I may have just cost my client (or my employer - verdict still TBD) $25k due to a decision I OK’d and my analyst executed on. I should have caught the misstep before it happened but so should have my analyst and so could have my VP. Have a feeling I’m going to have to take most of the blame on this one, however, and am honestly stressed about what this means for me. On that note, please share the costliest mistake you made! What happened to you afterward? Are you still with the same team? And am I overreacting?
