It's like that for analysts since they start in the summer. Eventually they're transitioned to a calendar year one via a stub bonus.
Also believe Goldman is announcing Jan 17th
BofA last week of Jan announce, paid Feb 15
Baird announcing Jan 17th, paying Feb 28th
Anyone know when Blair pays?
Pays Jan 31 announced Jan 23 last year, assuming will announce week of the 23rd this year

Can anyone explain how Moelis works?
I feel like I heard their analysts aren’t stubbed and are paid bonuses at end of their actual first year (July). Is that true? Any more color on timeline of first year bonus?
That's how it works at every bank. Analysts are paid out in July/August/September. Once you become an Associate you would get an additional stub bonus at the end of the calendar year and then your bonus cycle would align with your bank's fiscal year which is usually calendar year. This thread is meant for Associates and higher.
Not necessarily every bank; Blair stubs AN1s. Not certain about others

Associate here at MS. 175k base bonus 150k. Range was wide. Underperformers got screwed. Mid to top bucket was 90-100%
