When preparing for fall IB interviews, how do I best optimize my time?

I am going to be a senior in the fall at a target school and will be applying for full-time IBD positions...Econ major and Business minor with 3.3 GPA (not great, I know)... I do have an internship this Summer but it is not within IBD; I am doing credit analysis at a big insurance company (I was unable to land anything this summer for IBD). I prepare for interviews, what should be my top 3 priorities? Should I #1. Network so that I can actually have a fighting chance at getting the interview #2. prepare for technical questions & #3. ??? Open to any and all suggestions, really just trying to figure out how I can best utilize my time over the next two months. Thanks in advance.

Networking is your best option. Your 3.3 will be a bit low and even though you are at a target school, the fact that you don't have prior IBD experience will not land you the interviews your brand name will usually net people w/o prior exp. Prep for technicals in your spare time, but your main focus should be on networking.

Just my 2 cents.

Calm down.
