Where do the athletic type guys go or exit to?

First of all, I'm sure this will get MS but I'm genuinely curious, want to source ideas, and want to be as direct as possible

From what I've seen, most highly desired exits from a comp perspective have a bunch of people who look and talk very "corporate", and that's not really who I desire to be

Where does someone go to look as bad ass as Toto Wolff for example, maybe not to that level of success but the kinds of people he's with. I imagine what I'm looking for can only be found in sports? Just looking to source ideas

I know so many athletes at my target that end up going Wealth Management honestly I’m inclined to believe this is actually what happens

Good question and appreciate the candor.

On a separate note regarding your comment on the MS trolling on this forum and insults (I am not perfect in this regard and have a temper, fuck off) .  If the comment is clearly being posted in bad faith for the purpose of belittlement, not cool. It contributes nothing to this forum of any value and inhibits genuine and thoughtful discourse between industry colleagues, and make other people feel bad - which is bull shit honestly. With that being said, I think it is good to make light of situations but lets not make it a pathological pattern, just be real for gods sake.

Thank you to the Wall Street Oasis community, may fortune bless all of you

Oh wow thanks, the moral police are here.

You’re on a finance forum - expect finance bros or move to another industry. If you ask dumb questions expect to receive dumb answers.

Where do you expect to see the most athletic employees? Sports and sports-adjacent jobs. Not banking or PE where you work 24/7. I’m in PE, and I’m one of maybe 3 people in my office who work out, are under 30, and not sporting a beer gut/look like they’re about to die.

If you want to see a bunch of athletic people, finance is not the place.

I am kinda athletic and I work in finance. I gained 30 pounds in the first twelve months of Investment banking as an analyst just because it was such a lifestyle adjustment and the stress level / sitting in an office all day was new, but the second year I lost twenty pounds. I think it all comes down to adjusting to your life and making sure the job does not become who you are completely and you will be fine wherever. Doesn't matter where you go, there you are. Life is kinda what you make it i think

These days, media and social media pay like crazy. You could easily capitalize on genetics + athletics to do YouTube, TikTok, even head to Hollywood if you’re somewhat interesting, have cool ideas, specialize in something, or if you’re funny
