Where to find recent deals

Question

How can one find out recent deals that were executed in a regional BB office?

Most announcements will tell you what banks advised on the deal, but they dont say XX's SF office or XX's NYoffice.

Any input on how to find that out?

gives you all the information you need to know about any recent large deals, including multiples paid and the reason for the deal.

Recently was asked in an SA interview about a deal i followed, and I said the dollar tree - family dollar deal, because i found it interesting the way dollar general was attempting a hostile takeover, and how the FTC was claiming the hostile takeover would be a violation of anti trust laws.

Just find a deal that you truly find interesting, for one reason or another, and be able to articulate it well.

What i wanted to ask you is: during a SA M&A interview I know it’s really important to be knowledgeable about the bank recent and not-so-recent deals.

And i know that the best way to learn the subject is to read specialized press.

But isn’t there a website, or a publication, that lists deals sorted out by bank/company for a certain year?
Like a site, aside from generic google, in which i could just type “Morgan Stanley” and get informations on every deal and operation made by the bank that made it to pre

Where do you guys find info about specific M&A/underwriting deals that a specific bank has arranged recently...or just a list of deals the firm has participated/managed?  I don't know if I'm retarded or if it's harder than it seems to find out recent deals a bank has managed.

Hello all, I've been trying to find a list of the deals that WFS (specifically their Industrials coverage group) has done recently. The two sources I've found thus far that could give me this information is: CapitalIQ and Dealbook.

Unfortunately, I don't have a subscription to CapitalIQ, and Dealbook hasn't been helpful as of yet, so I was curious if you knew of any other free databases/resources I could use to find this information? Thank you
