Which banks (BBs) do a drug test on interns for SA in London?
i know they do it in the US at all, but what about SA internship for 10-12 weeks in London? Do the banks test the interns. the internship is about to start, and HR hasnt said anything like this, but fearing a randomized drug test during the first two weeks of the program.
thanks guys!

Don't... do... drugs?
It's 10 weeks.
thanks guys for that, but any clue if any banks in london do a drug test on Summer analysts?
Freshman PWM interns get drug tested in the US. I'm guessing it's similar in London.
my experience has been with SF, which may just be more liberal, but i have never been tested at banks where NY counterparts have been tested.
I'm shocked to hear that. I work in a non-NY office and was tested. I think it's standard at my bank for anyone in the U.S., they're pretty zero-tolerance about drugs.
I wasn't afraid of pissing dirty, but I found the entire experience to be humiliating and degrading. They don't even let you wash your fucking hands until after you sign some stuff and the cup is sealed, which could be a few minutes...If you're peeing in a cup you're pretty much guaranteed to get some on yourself. Or maybe I just have bad aim.
On the bright side, I wasn't one of the poor sobs at the testing center that needed a technician in there with a "splash shield" on their face monitoring them. I wonder what you have to do to deserve that...
usually no tests in london. cant tell you which bank does but most dont (at least they didnt when i did my sa). might have changed by now.
when did u do ur SA?
