Mate, that's my point. This late in October most shops have finished recruiting for both SA and FT. Or if they haven't finished recruiting yet, they already have candidates in process with superdays coming up very shortly. There are not many positions (if any) available for you to apply to if you're not already in process with a firm.
Hence, apply to London. They are just getting the ball rolling for SA 2019 so you won't be late.
It's not like I'm just starting to recruit -- I've been recruiting for the past few months starting in the summer. I'm in a few processes right now (had a few superdays too), but I was wondering if there were any other firms recruiting right now that I'm not aware of.
