Best Ones: Williams, Amherst, Middlebury, Colgate, Bucknell, CMC (CA only)
Lesser options: Trinity, Bowdoin, W&lee, Wellesley/Smith/Barnard (if you're a girl)

What about Wesleyan?

It's okay. On par with a school like Trinity, Conn College or Hamilton (in the nescac). I don't think they get great recruiting, but the name is certainly respected because it is known to have a selective admissions process and high average sat scores. If I had other options, then I wouldn't go there because it just isn't designed to be a feeder into finance. It only offers economics as a major, not finance/accounting, and though this is accepted at the very top schools like the ivies, I doubt that it would be worth it at a nontarget/semi target. It really depends on your other options. You could definitely get into banking from there if you network , but I would classify it as a "lesser option" if you're hellbent on attending a lac. It's a semi target and you can always transfer after a year to a place like UVA/Michigan Ross if you don't like it...

Okay, thanks. I understand. Thing is I'm international and had to go with where my family can afford. They offered the best aid package of the schools I got into. I guess if it's possible with good networking, then I can pull it off.
