Who is the Ron Jeremy of investment banking?

They aren't the smartest, they aren't the sexiest and their CIMs are always grainy with logos in <500 pixels. But god damn they do a lot of business and they will do ANYTHING. So much so that you wonder how their clients and counterparties don't feel filthy just being involved with them, until you remember, that they'll do business with absolutely anybody. Somehow, someway, they keep finding more action and do a lot of business, oftentimes with clients that other, more illustrious banks wouldn't even consider engaging with.

What bank comes to mind?

Harris Williams. Their CIMs still look...wrong, even though they've finally switched from word to actual powerpoint decks. They run super broad processes, and are able to sell anything because at the end of the day at least one sponsor in the process will find their client appealing.

Also Rothschild US has brought to market some really, really bad companies.
