Why are bankers so much cooler than premeds, pre-law kids, etc?

they are not... most are all dorks cut from the same cloth..myself included
we aren't cool sitting in a fucking cube 100 hours a week with nothing to do besides crank in excel, powerpoint and word. You really realize how cool you are when your friends from college who aren't fortunate enough to be making a 100k / yr get to spend the money they do make on trips, partying, travelling etc. when they don't even call you anymore because they know you are never free.

really? i guess we have a different definition of cool (or maybe the kids at your firm are way cooler). i googled a bunch of kids from my future group/ intern class, most of them a total douches
How can you tell whether they're douches from googling them?
some people had the most outrageous linked in profiles, with sections such as VALUE I ADD, where they listed their '"skills"; or personal web pages (i had better html skills when i was 7) where they ragged how awesome they are; or already putting on their resume (!) that they WILL BE interning at such and such bank. overall, very pompous
