Why are there so many rednecks working on Wall Street?
I want to work on Wall Street precisely because I want to distance myself from rednecks. But after I started working on Wall Street, I quickly realized that there are a bunch of unsophisticated, uncultured borderline rednecks who grew up in the suburbs. Some of them can sense the fact that I am the total opposite of a redneck and engage in subtle and nuanced micro-aggressions directed at me. Which Wall Street firms have the least rednecks?
Also, a person from any demographic can be a redneck.....So my definition of a redneck does not include only people from certain types of places and backgrounds.

Nope....your definition misses the point. Even a privileged white girl from Connecticut can be a redneck. Did I ever tell you that the only guests who attended a stupid cowboy/cowgirl party at a restaurant in NYC are well-to-do white people driving Mercedes and are from places like Greenwich and Danbury. It was quite the scene to be honest. It confirmed my long-standing suspicions about the poor taste of many of those people.
