Why do you want to leave your current bank?

What would you say the reason is for latering from one BB to another BB? It's easy if you're going from a BB to a Boutique by talking about leaner deal teams, blah blah blah. Also easy if you're going from a Boutique to a BB by talking about bigger balance sheets, etc. What would you say though if you're going from one global BB to yet another global BB, both with big balance sheets and etc.? I seriously can't think of anything to say and I have a superday coming up.

Can you talk about culture (protected saturdays, mentorship, wfh policy), work across offices (does the team do a lot of cross border work?), or maybe you’re super interested in equity and the new bank focuses on that more than m&a like your current firm (or vice versa).

FWIW I have a superday at an eb (at a mm currently) and am going to talk about lean deal teams, better mentorship opps and the ability to work on a wider range of products. But honestly all the vps and associates quit so I have a valid reason for leaving, but need to make the “why X” answer better.

I’ve just been applying on LinkedIn. No networking or headhunters lol. Have a couple of first rounds at BBs next week too. The market is hot if you have experience. Non-target (good LAC), junior SA (no other relevant work experience), diversity (white girl), 3.6 gpa

At my current firm we can’t find experienced hires either. Banks are desperate.

Barely any legit work other than bs assigned. Pay and bonus haven't caught up after the big pay bump IB analysts received. Unfortunately, I can't move internally because of psycho managers emotionally manipulating juniors to stay on.
