Why is Asset Management a lesser used exit opportunity towards bankers?

Everyone here wants wants to probably break into either a Hedge Fund, a Private Equity firm, go to F500 Corp Dev/Strat or even climb up the ladder. Yet there is hardly any talk about moving to Asset Management.
