Why is it harder to lateral from LMM --> BB/EB versus MM-->BB/EB
Incoming SA27 at a good LMM IB. Looking to recruit FT and have been told the above. Curious why this is, is it literally just because of deal size or other characteristics I'm not thinking of?
Coming from LLM IB and have been doing well in interviews but no offer LOL. So it is a lot harder
any clue as to why tho? is it rlly just the work experience or does it just come down to the candidate

LMM usually has poor technical training, processes, and lower quality deal reps and experience. True MMs are usually more institutionalized and thus the candidates coming out of there have a much lower risk profile to ramp up.
