Why not a Boutique Bank?
There seems to be a lack of information on boutique investment banks on WSO whether that be from a lack of positions available or some larger reasoning..... What is they pay like? Along with size/ promotion opportunity/prestige. What draws you or pulls you away from boutiques over bulge bracket or even middle market banks?
I am also very curious about this. My plan is to target boutique firms to avoid relocation and a hopefully easier way to transition into the industry

I'm guessing it's because there are so many of them. It would take a lot of manpower to find good data on all the botiques. Just look on any database for this stuff (Pitchbook is great) and find theor recent transactions page - that should give you a good idea of their success.
