Will JPM NY Tech be seeing more software execution after senior hires?

With JPM recently bringing on Dan McDow from Citi to lead East Coast Tech and David Fishman from BofA to lead North America Tech M&A, curious whether these hires signal a broader push to expand software M&A execution in the New York office.

I’ve heard that historically, much of JPM’s core software M&A execution has been concentrated in SF, even when NY bankers are involved in originating deals.

Do people expect these senior hires to shift more software execution responsibilities to NY, or will SF likely continue to handle the majority of these transactions?

Would be interested to hear from anyone familiar with JPM’s Tech group or how staffing is typically split between the two offices.
