Worth it to take Series 7 and become accredited?
So as you guys may know, the SEC recently amended the definition of accredited investor to include people who are sophisticated and knowledgable in financial markets in addition to the standard income / net worth guidelines.
From what I've seen, series 7 is not required to go into IB anymore, but you can qualify as an accredited investor if you pass the series 7. Would it be worth it to take some extra time and pass the series 7 to become an accredited investor and be able to trade in private equity on some of those private equity trading platforms?
