Worth leaving big 4 audit for a shitty LMM TAS/FDD practice?
Markets been tough to land a role in FDD at my level (associate) but recently landed one with a local FDD practice. I've heard very mixed reviews from previous employees ive reached out to, but it kinda seems like my only hope for a TAS position anytime soon. Their deals arent awful it seems like its just a shitty work environment, but i might be willing to swallow that and just deal with it for a year or so then try to hop to B4 FDD? Pay will also be less than optimal (seems like theyre probably only gonna match my Big 4 audit pay). Would you do it to get out of audit?
Depends on what your end goal is…Suffering at a job is worth to an extent it leads you somewhere.
Yeah as of right now I feel more comfortable with the idea of going to TAS and potentially making a career out of it, than any exit opp audit provides
