Worth the time to apply for a analyst role without any networking at the firm?
I'm a student at a Canadain semi-target with a 3.9/4, networking now at big 5 trying to prep for a winter 2020 internship (don't feel qualified for a BB but the question still stands).
Is it worth applying to a summer/winter analyst position even if you've spoken to no-one at the firm? I feel like the resume would just coast into the virtual trash bin after an online application and the time may be better spent reaching out to more people/studying for potential interviews.
Takes at most 15 minutes to apply so I don't see why not.
