Would I be looked at by companies

If I double majored in Accounting and Finance would that get me a decent job. I'm not sure it would land an ib job at all. I also plan to sit for my CPA and CFA once I complete both majors. I live in Ohio, so I was wondering if that would set me up for good jobs in my area, and possibly if I later moved what jobs could I get.

You would sit for BOTH the CPA and CFA? I think you first need to figure out what you want to do. Both of these designations lead to very different career paths.

This. OP you sound a bit confused about what kind of career you want to get into. Figure that out first (using this site and countless other resources) before you spend valuable time and money on something you wont need or even want to do.

As everyone else said, you can't sit for both. It's either you do the CPA accounting path or you do the CFA finance path. Getting both is counterproductive to the other designation. If you want to do Accounting, simply major in just that and then sit for the CPA. If you want to do Finance, double major with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or IT, and then you can do the CFA once you get hired.
