Would this ECM role be worth it?

I work in valuations currently. I’ve been at a top val shop for about 8 months and I’m starting to get some hits on FO applications.

One opportunity that I’m considering is an ECM role at a middle market bank (well known for retail banking but solid IB presence).

I’m aware than ECM has a stigma of involving no modeling and not being analytical. This job description says that analysts will independently build valuation models including DCF, LBO, etc and most of the description seems quantitative in nature.

Would this role be worth considering? Although the finance presence here is growing fast, my city doesn’t have a ton of “good” IB, and I’d prefer to stay here if possible since I enjoy the city overall. I’d like to exit valuation by the one-year mark because they work us too much for the $70k all-in they pay us... and it’s pretty dry.
