Yeah so... I have no finance experiences! Here's my resume - any help appreciated
I'm applying to IBD SA positions and some PE firms. I'm more interested in getting a FT job at MBB, so I applied to a bunch of consulting internships already. But since consulting firms tend to not give very many internships, I thought it would be a good idea to try to get an IB SA internship if I can't land a good consulting one. I am really interested in finance and economics though, and I think my analytical/number skills could be of use in IBD. Not much of a salesman though...

However, I will say your resume looks a very empty. You should either clear up lines that don't take up much space, or extend lines that don't take up enough space. For example, the second bullet point under the Geffen header leaves a lot of room left, which can be filled with more detail or that entire bullet can be shortened to one line. You have interesting things on your resume, yet if they aren't filled with more detail, it seems as if you didn't really do anything.
Also, your resume tells me one major flaw: lack of attention to detail. There are a ton of inconsistencies throughout the resume regarding formatting.
Lastly, I would write out the months for each date, and keep the dates lined up.
Thanks for the comments - can't believe the dates weren't lined up. I had the left alignment right on word, but must have accidentally added spaces.
I also changed June to Jun. if that's what you mean by inconsistencies. For the education and skills sections, I don't want to follow the same format because of practical reasons. Are you talking about how I said "junior independent work" in italics when it's not a title like the other italicized text?

Looking at the italicized portions, you'll notice that some are capitalizated and some are not. Regardless of what type of title it is, I would keep everything capitalized. Going further, notice that the only title that isn't a job title is the one "junior independent research." In this case, I would change it to say maybe "Junior Independent Researcher," even if that wasn't your official title.
Looking at your dates, I would write out the entire month, just because it would take up more space. If you're worried about spacing issues under the Geffen entry, just move the first date down to where the second date is, separated by a comma.
Fix the formatting, and out of curiosity: are you applying to health care IBD positions. If not, you research experience coupled with an econ degree makes you a good candidate. Just a thought...
I would be very interested in heath care IBD positions, but I'm just applying broadly to all BB and many botique banks. Do most of them have health care groups?

Can't really make my work experiences seem any more significant than that without exaggerating, but I tried to fill up more space. I want to keep the abbreviations so the dates can line up nicely with my expected graduation date and my address (kind of).
