Zoom Interview Interruption
So today, I was doing a zoom interview for a 2024 Summer IB Analyst role at Goldman Sachs in NYC, but about halfway through, tornado sirens went off and my WiFi went out. It’s back on now, and I sent them an email explaining what happened, but I haven’t gotten a response even though I sent it almost 15 minutes ago. I really feel like I blew my chance…how bad does a situation like this affect my outlook for this internship? I still have a summer offer for Morgan Stanley in 2024 but I’m not sure I want to go there. Any advice on any further steps I could take to navigate this awkward situation?

The people on this forum are so bad at detecting troll posts… like dude he’s literally like “idk if I wanna take my MS offer for summer 2024….” the MS thing should indicate it’s a troll and, if not, you can also see by the year.

Same thing happened to me when I was recruiting for 2026 SA and it wasn't an issue.
ngl, I once had a fire alarm go off during a zoom interview cause my roommate didn't turn on the range hood
Yeah my roommate was clapping cheeks while I was interviewing for Goldman and Sachs 2026 SA. My interviewer did not take it well.
