Terrible question, that shouldn’t be on your mind. It’s like asking what’s the best role for xyz underrepresented group. They’re all the best roles for women and everyone else. Ofc some are easier to get, and some are more cutthroat. But that’s the name of the game. Chase all the way to the CEO and know that you have to compete more than the usual white male in finance. that’s the kind of mentality you need to have whether it’s a BO, MO, or FO role in any male-dominated industry. If you can’t compete and have the drive to do so, then settle for HR or marketing, but I’d like to think you do so stay on the pursuit to the highest levels you think your capable of going.
