1st round telelphone interview
Hi guys,
I've got a 1st round call with CS coming up in London. Does anyone know if they ask any technicals in first round? - Call is scheduled for 30 mins but usually these 1st round calls end in like 15 mins for me lol.
Historical CS technicals:
- Walkthrough a DCF, conceptually what is WACC, discount rate, calculate CAPM
- Pros and cons of a DCF beyond just the "sensitive to assumptions" answer
- If the EBITDA multiple grows at 20% from Year 1 to year 2, assuming stable TEV/Revenue- how does the EBITDA margin change
- Comparing Revenue multiples depending if TEV is constant
- Walk through an LBO high-level

What position? For an internship they didn't ask me any technicals in the first round.
Analyst role. Was your phone call with just HR or with someone senior from the team you would be hired to?
