90k salary in NYC?
What kind of lifestyle can actually be lived on a 90k salary in NYC? I get a small signon bonus but don't think I can expect a yearly bonus.

Not great but can be pretty comfortable if you get a cheap rent situation ($1500/mo for a room with roommates) in a less expensive neighborhood. Depending on where you work, Manhattan valley, morningside heights, harlem are all good options for midtown. Astoria and deeper into queens or Brooklyn is a good option as well. Or Jersey city or Hoboken. Won’t be the most trendy neighborhoods but that’s the compromise you should make to actually have a little money left over.
