Advice for coffee meeting with an IB Associate?

Hello WSO,

I’ve been a long time follower, but this is my first post. I am hoping you all can give me some advice. I began my search for a summer 2022 analyst role and I happened to land a coffee meeting with an IB associate. I’m wondering if there are any talking points that I should focus on, or if I should let them lead the conversation. I initially reached out to them on LinkedIn and asked if they could spare a few minutes to talk about how they got their summer analyst role after college. Surprisingly, they responded and asked me to send them my resume so they can share it with the team. Shortly after, I received an email from them asking me to provide my availability so we can grab a coffee and chat. I know getting face time with a member of the team can be extremely beneficial, so I want to make the absolute most of it.

If there are any pointers you all can give or any advice to make the most of the meeting, I would greatly appreciate it.
