Advice for path to take?
I’m currently a sophomore Econ major at UF and I’m interested in a career in finance. I took a lot of dual enrollment and so I’m on track to graduate next semester. I haven’t gotten any internships yet so I’m looking for advice on what to do to prolong my time in school. I can double major in math, stats, or business admin and this would take me to the full 4 years. I cant directly double major in finance as I’m a transfer student, but doing business admin would make me a warrington student and would be better for recruiting I feel. It’s not as rigorous and doesn’t have as much hard skills with it, as say stats or math which would pair with Econ to make a pretty quantitative signal but also would probably have a lower gpa due to the rigor. I could also minor in accounting, or stats/math/cs, or not do any double major or minor and try for a combined masters or masters in general (I’m not eligible for the MSF at UF either). Any advice would be great.
