Advice on Internships

Hey everyone, So I am a junior at a complete non target in upstate new york(union college) looking for some advice. I've been interning at a subsidiary of Goldman Sach, but it is a pwm internship. I have been looking for more opportunities in the Albany region but all I can really find are branch offices. Would it be beneficial to intern at a branch office, or one of the small, not well known companies in the area like CL king and associates(unpaid), pine street capital (pe), Baird ( fixed income s&t), Jefferies or shwartz heslin( micro investment bank)?

I want to get an internship that will open up the most doors when it comes to SA positions. Coming from a complete non target I'm not sure if it would be better if I went with the name of a branch office, or for an internship that I will learn the most at but is from an unheard of company.

Thanks for any help.

Pick the internship where you will learn the most and gives you the most to talk about during interviews. You don't want to keep doing pwm as it is more of a stepping stone internship to something better.
