Ankward about sending travel expenses

I am kinda awkward with that type of thing so let me explain.

I got an in-person interview at a small ER shop and had to take a train to go there. The interview was with the CEO and it went pretty bad but I think I've still a chance since I have a better CV than the others candidates. He asked me to send my travel expenses so that the company could pay them but it's like 50 bucks and I don't really give a shit about getting reimbursed (it's an arbitrage so to be fair i can take it)

Since I really want the job (and failed the interview) do you think I should:

- Wait until I get rejected to send the bill

- Send it right away.

- Never send it
