Anyone sign Junior SA IBD before sophomore summer internship?

^^^^With how accelerated recruiting is now is this common? I’m a rising sophomore working remotely for a microboutique IB and think I will have a decent bit to talk about in interviews next year. However, the idea of taking next summer to have some fun before the grind starts is nice

Signed SA 2022 before my SA 2021 internship at a lower MM firm, honestly was great just being able to ask all of my dumb questions and just learn as much as possible before my internship this summer. Great experience and given the lower level of pressure was still able to have a bunch of fun (went out a ton during the week).
