Applying for BB without previous IBD experience
Hey guys, I am planning to apply for the SA Programs of all BBs this summer (HK office for specific). I will apply for IBD but worry that my CV is not good enough. I am studying in one of the top3 universities in hk and has a 3.6 gpa. I have 3 internships so far, the first one is at a insurance consulting firm, the second is a financial advisory firm helping startups raising fund from VC/PE, and the third is what I am doing now, investment research at an Hk based hedge fund. So with these experiences do I have a chance to get an interview with BB?

seems reasonable. not sure why you have negative feedback? Strange, can you post the firms that you are thinking about?
hey thanks for replying. I am thinking about applying for all bulge bracket in hk (GS, MS, JPM, Citi, etc.) But most of the senior students I know that got into these firms have already had IBD experiences (mostly in Chinese ibanks) so I am just not sure if I would have a chance to at least get the interview from BB without any IBD experiences on my CV.
