Applying for FT analyst roles as a 2026 grad?

Just wondering about timelines -- since starting college I've always been applying to another internship or preparing for upcoming applications, so I'm unsure what to do now. My internship for summer 2025 is ready, and while I of courrse would love to stay with them FT, I want to set myself up for success should I need to find a new company. What should I be doing now? I'm on all of the mailing lists but can't imagine many jobs are opening now, when interns aren't even starting for 4+ months...
