asking for referral post informational interview for internship
hi im a sophomore at a target school trying to find summer internships in mid-tier consulting firms. I've already applied to countless places with no response, so now im trying to network.
next week I have an informational interview with a partner at a firm that I already applied to last week.
hopefully the interview will go well, but I'd like some advice on how to ask for a referral afterwards.
should i blatantly ask, if so how?
or should I try to network more by asking to speak to others in the team?
