Hi, how does the background check work for a MM European bank? (long term Intern position)
Specifically, the employment verification part. Can they verify that WITHOUT reaching out to my current employer?
Also, how long does it take?

Yes they will contact your previous employers (at least some of them). Just put what you put on your CV
