Can’t really confirm about Milan but in Madrid some BBs pay the EUR equivalent of the LND salary, so if base in LND is 60k GBP, base in Madrid is ~72k EUR.
That’s not true for all BBs in Madrid afaik. I guess that in Milan it will be similar.
Also just FYI in case you don’t know, IB culture in Milan is very harsh. I have heard pretty bad stories
Worked as an IB intern in both London and Milan. Milan was significantly worse, with longer hours and shitty comp (can't speak for FT, but interns are paid ~€750/1000 a month). Culture is also harsh and it's common to hire 2/3 interns even if they only have headcount for one FT offer.
Didn't work there, but Rothschild is probably the most sweaty shop in the city with harsh culture and interns constantly pulling 120hr weeks.

I'm into S&T, but i doubt the culture is any worse than any other city
