Being Late to Superday....

Had superday today, got to the building ten minutes early but took the wrong elevator and got trapped in the freight elevator for ten minutes. Was a little under ten minutes late to first interview- told the interviewer what happened and why i was late and he laughed. Am i done for? interview went pretty well after...

if he laughed and you were able to brush it off, take it in stride, and rock the rest of the interview, shouldn't be a problem at all. obviously it all depends on what the interviewer thought, but in this case it sounded like he didn't care

Remember, once you're inside you're on your own. Oh, you mean I can't count on you? No. Good!

was late to an interview on friday, still got the offer today. if you don't make it a big deal/had a legit reason (which you do, and a funny one too, haha) and you kill the interview, shouldn't be a big deal unless the interviewer is an ass.
