BIWS Guides

I'm thinking about purchasing Breaking Into Wall Street's "IB Networking Toolkit" and "ib interview Guide." I'm sure this has been discussed before, however, I believe they've recently come out with a new version so wanted to get some feedback. Are they worth it?

arner23anything on the networking guide?

Highly recommended. It provides you with both general guidelines and specific examples that really don't seem obvious at first. Just as importantly, it helps with your confidence to actually start networking, since you will know that what you're doing is right.

would take a look at the WSO equivalent...

We just updated our Tech guide AND networking guide is brand new as well (hasn't been announced yet)...plsu we have the advantage of seeing what is currently being asked from the WSO Company Database, so we are continually updating and improving each of our guides.

No harm in trying ours and asking for refund if you aren't impressed.

arner23sweet, thanks. anything on the networking guide?

would take a look at the WSO equivalents - technical, behavioral and networking for $79.99 (IB Prep package)...Less than 1/2 what you pay at BIWS and I'd argue has everything you need and more. //www.wallstreetoasis.com/guide-to-finance-interviews

The BIWS's networking guide says it comes with a list of 4000 IBs. Does WSO's have something similar??

My rule of thumb is that any investment related to education/career growth is never not worth it, and always generates a very high ROI; if you think it will improve your networking game then buy it.
