BlackRock and GPA

Hello,
Ill probably get nailed for asking this, but it's worth a shot. So, my brother is really good friends with the project manager and a recruiting manager at BlackRock(they work in PAG). I mentioned to my brother that I was super interested in connecting with them. After attempting to contact them I was able to speak to the recruiting manager on the phone and asked him questions regarding the application process and the position. He told me he wouldnt be able to do more than "get my resume infront of the right people." Now I would be super stoked about this, but my gpa is 2.637(I know really low 3.8 at my community college). I have working experience working with youth and go to a semi-target as a stat major. Any insight? Give me some kind of hope. Kill me softly.

Don't put your GPA on your resume and hope for the best, IMHO. If / when they ask, have a story better than Argo put together.
