BlackRock FT Recruiting Advice

Hi everyone,

Since we're moving into FT hiring season this coming September, I wanted to see if anyone from BlackRock would be helpful to offer some advice to recent graduates.

The dates and window openings used to be on the website, but all I know is that they start touring universities in January/February.

I've interned with the firm in BlackRock Solutions three times but lost touch during the 2008-2009 times, when my manager and my co-workers all lost their jobs.

I'm trying to just land an interview to show them what kind of work I did in the past, and what I can do for them as a full time hire. Just wanting to start my career. The groups I'm interested in are AMG (client facing, marketing, etc.) and PAG. I don't think I have the quants ready for FMG and PMG usually does internal lateral hires.

Thanks!
