Break into IB from PE

Hi all,

Currently an investment associate (title not updated on WSO) in REPE at a large fund (Bx, Brookfield…). Have been there for 3+ years (and have internships in PE as well) and I am considering a move into Real Estate IB.

Here are a few questions for you guys: - does anyone here did IB -> PE and come back to IB? If so, care to elaborate why? - could my resume be of any interest for any BB/EB? - in that case, what should I train for to get ready for interviews? - is it possible to benefit from getting transferred between offices in IB (from US to EU or EU to US, Asia or whatever)?

Thanks for the help.
