Breaking into IB in Canada with foreign experience
Hello, I’m an international student entering my final year of uni. I was wondering if doing an investment banking internship in my home country of Perú at a Santander Corporate Investment Banking, will in anyway help me in securing a full-time offer in IB after I graduate. I’ve heard that Canadian Banks usually don’t consider internships abroad especially in developing countries as valuable as they ones in Canada.
Any thoughts and do you think Canadian banks would consider the internship valuable?
