Can I get an internship?

I currently have a 3.93 GPA at Nassau Community College and plan to transfer to Baruch College for Fall 2012. Where should I look to apply for an internship? Should I wait when I transfer into Baruch College for my junior year?

You could try to get a wealth management internship (although it is very late to be starting your search now). Contact your parents' wealth manager/cold call local PWM shops and ask if they are still taking on interns. Be sure to express your interest in finance and your willingness to work for free. The position would most likely be unpaid anyway but it is good experience for someone your age and will allow you to build your resume in order to hopefully land a good summer analyst position next summer after your transfer.

Impossible is nothing
