Can you get an analyst position at a BB if you’ve been out of industry for a few years without an MBA?

I went to a non target but landed an analyst role at a BB in their industrials group. I did that for the whole analyst stint then left as I had wanted to be a pilot as a kid.

Well it ended up being a shitshow. I saved and made from investments enough to live comfortable without a job as long I wasn’t in an HCOL city. So I went home and stayed with my parents while I enrolled in flight school. This was in mid 2019, so you can see where this is going. I focused all my time on this and was set by early 2020 to get a private license. The commercial training took much longer. Covid really fucked everything up and delayed that timeline. Recently, I failed a medical certification since I take meds for anxiety which are not FAA approved. This will pretty much make it impossible to continue with this.

Would it be possible to interview for IB analyst (as an experienced analyst) programs? What would I tell them? Really my only option at this point. I’d rather not work in corporate at an airline or something as it would be a constant reminder.
