Canada to US recruitment?

Will be graduating in the next month and looking at banking opportunities practically anywhere but Canada. Has anyone successfully recruited straight from Canada to the US? If so would you be able to provide insight on how this was done and how you overcame the Visa sponsorship problem?

Very difficult unless you speak Spanish as well. Or coming from an Ivy & graduated top of class. Usually people from Canada make the move after gaining some experience and networking with employees down there

There isn’t a visa sponsorship problem per se. You are a thousand times better off than internationals who came to Canada on a visa for PR & ended up studying here. All you really need is the TN + job offer letter, however with trump most likely coming back it could be troublesome. Banks with strong lawyer departments can easily file H-1B on your behalf

Word! I wasn't aware of that, I was under the impression that sponsorship for the H1-B was impossible to get. Thank you for the hope 🤝🏻
