Cannot secure a FT Position to save my life

I have applied and interviewed for countless positions since the beginning of my Senior year of college and have not secured one offer. I attend a non-target but feel like I have relevant experience after interning on a trading floor of a MM firm this past summer, along with a corp finance internship the summer before, with other relevant experiences through clubs at school. Interning on the trading floor last summer, I wanted to look strictly at S&T roles, but have since expanded my search into looking at just about anything in the financial services industry (IB, Research, S&T, WM, etc.). I have interviewed for all kinds of positions since and have prepared the best I can and done well where I advance to further rounds but can't secure the position. I interviewed a few times at the MM firm I interned at for research positions and would advance in further rounds but that had the same end as all of the other stories. Fast-forward a few months into what caused this post was my most recent interview process at a MM firm for an S&T position where I had a first-round screening with a recruiter who told me at the end of the interview that he essentially guaranteed I'd make it to the next round based off our convo, then I got the email this morning they won't be able to go forward with my candidacy. If this sounds like a pity post, it kind of is, as I'm sure there are posts similar to this but I am not looking for any sympathy, I am just feeling pretty down after remaining optimistic for the past ~ 6 months. I am curious if anyone has specific advice or if there are potential holes in my resume that are causing me to not be able to secure a full-time position. I am an extremely hard-working person who simply needs an opportunity ahead of my graduation in May, and I would love to chat with anyone who might be able to help. Thank you in advance.
