Career advice for biotech investment
I'm interested in biotech VC/PE/HF buy-side jobs and seeking career advice on the transition. Here's my background: Late 20s. Biochem B.S. from an Asia country, computer science M.S. from a top state school (got into Harvard but didn't go there... probably a mistake..) Have around three years of work experience as a computational biologist under a world-renowned PI and a pharma company for early drug development. I've looked through many profiles in this biotech VC/PE/HF field, and many have MD/PhD. I was wondering if I should spend more years getting more education (MD or MBA) or if there's another better route. Thanks!
